    Step into the warmth and character of Traveller’s Return — a lovingly restored 1901 Federation Bungalow offering comfort, charm, and convenience for every kind of traveller. Whether you're a couple on a romantic getaway, a family visiting from the country, on a business trip or friends exploring the coast, this three-bedroom cottage is your perfect Fremantle home base.

    Ideally located between South Fremantle’s buzzing cafés and shops, the historic West End, bustling boat harbour and beautiful local beaches — all just a short, easy stroll away.  You may hear some sounds of the city, especially on weekends - though local noise restrictions begin at 10pm and we are set away form the noisier areas.

    Curl up with a book and a cup of carefully selected Love loose leaf tea, soak in the bath, or enjoy a drink in your private garden sanctuary as the sun sets over Fremantle.

    We ask guests to respect our neighbours and treat this space like your own.

  • Three Bedrooms + Sofa Bed

    Two spacious bedrooms at the front of the home, each with a luxurious king bed and soft linen bedding. Secluded third bedroom with ensuite at the rear of the garden - perfect for grandparents, teens, or for extra privacy.

    Two Bathrooms / Laundry

    One in the centre of the main house, equipped with shower, full bath to enjoy a soak and Miele Washer Dryer. The second bathroom is an en-suite in the back secluded cottage. We provide local Heartwood Sandalwood body products to feel truly spoiled.  

     Family Friendly

    This is the perfect family home, with many different areas, we provide family games, beach activities and toys, bikes and also high chair and porta cot (on request) are available.

     Workspace

    For business trips, we have a designated workspace located next to the loungeroom, overlooking the beautiful secluded garden. With high-speed 100Mbps NBN wifi. With a table, chair and lots of natural light.

    Open Plan Kitchen/Dining/Lounge

    With our professional kitchen, equipped with kettle, Nespresso Pods, toaster, 900mm Upright cooker, microwave and all the essentials to cook for family and friends, dining and loungeroom  all connected, perfect for entertaining with friends or family, flowing out to the lush garden and outdoor space.

    Living Room

    Step down from the kitchen to our cosy loungeroom, equipped with a 70” Samsung digital Smart TV, to login into your favourite show. Open the bifold doors out to the secluded garden, or close up and turn on the AC for a warm snug, fold out the sofa bed for extra comfort or extra guests.

    Outdoor areas

    At the rear of the property, connecting to the back garden cottage, is our secluded cottage garden, out from the loungeroom you open the bifold doors and relax on the outdoor lounge on back deck with drink in hand or cook up a BBQ and enjoy a meal on out outdoor dining setting.

  • You have your own off street parking bay, accessed by the rear of the property, next to the rear gate. Or plenty of free street parking at the front of the property.

  • There are three split system AC for heating and cooling, the Freo Dr. (beautiful sea breeze that comes in about midday) plus a portable heater and fan

    • 50% of the total booking amount is due at the time of booking

    • The remaining amount will be debited from your credit card 14 days before arrival

    • 50% of deposit paid is refundable when cancelled 14 days before arrival

    • 0% is refundable if cancelled after

  • A pre-authorisation of $250 is held one day before arrival, and released three days after departure

  • We are big believers that pets are a vital part of the family and are welcome to stay. We need to be notified at time of booking and a Pet Bond of $100 per pet is to be paid.
